It is for this reason that one of the benefits of pineapple juice is to prevent and help in recovery when suffering from any disease.

Improves digestion

Bromelia is an enzyme found in the central part of the fruit and in juices that use pineapple. This substance becomes very effective in improving digestion as it helps our body to break down and digest proteins. On the other hand, it is known that the bromeliad made capsule can be very helpful to reduce bruising, swelling and even reduce the recovery time after surgery.

As you know, pineapple contains a very interesting enzyme called bromelain. Its main purpose is to fight inflammation by destroying those toxins that attack our tissues and that activate pain, edema, and fluid retention. If we drink pineapple water regularly, our body will notice it. It is very useful if, for example, we suffer from arthritis.

You may wonder why we recommend drinking pineapple water on an empty stomach. Well, our indication is that you start the day with a glass of water on an empty stomach because that way the stomach absorbs better its nutrients and its properties. Later, and after having eaten, we hinder its depurative and anti-inflammatory action when mixed with other nutrients. So, do not hesitate, take the first glass always fasting.

Bromelain

Bromelain is a substance with medical applications that focus on pineapple, both in the fruit and in the stem. It is widely used in respiratory conditions, since it has anti-inflammatory qualities, especially in the nose and sinuses. It is also used to treat ulcers and heartburn, improve antibiotic absorption, relax muscles and stimulate muscle contractions during labor.

Due to its dis inflammatory qualities and pain reduction, bromelain combines with other components for the treatment of arthritis in the knees. In addition, it acts as an enzyme in gastric juice, breaking down proteins for better assimilation. For people with poor absorption of nutrients or those who follow a diet rich in protein, pineapple can be an important ally of your health.

However, we must also mention that the consumption of pineapple juice does not have sufficient amounts of bromeliad to be used as a medical treatment. But its consumption can be very helpful to facilitate digestion. Bromelain, in this case, is an enzyme that helps break down and digest proteins. In addition, it also helps reduce swelling and pain. Its consumption is ideal for people with heartburn and stomach pain. Its high fiber content also prevents constipation.

Can prevent and fight cancer

According to a study carried out in a lavatory, it showed how the juice of the pulp, core, and base of fresh pineapple could suppress the growth of the cells that cause ovarian and colon cancer. However, more human studies are still needed to conclude if there is a direct relationship between pineapple consumption and cancer reduction.

On the other hand, we must mention that its content in beta-carotene may be another of the benefits of pineapple since a study by the Harvard Department of Public Health states how beta-carotene can prevent the onset of prostate cancer.

Another study also found that people who ate foods containing beta-carotene greatly reduced their chances of developing colon cancer.

Promotes healthy skin

This is one of the benefits of pineapple juice that is due to its content of vitamin C and beta-carotene. Both substances being powerful antioxidants that can reduce the damage caused by free radicals, the sun, and pollution to the skin.

It also highlights that vitamin C can help in the formation of collagen, being a protein that gives structure and strength to the skin. It Promotes a healthy view. There are many studies that claim that a diet rich in vitamins C can reduce the chances of suffering from cataracts by up to a third. This is because the fluid in our eyes is composed of vitamin C and a diet in this substance can maintain this fluid and prevent the appearance of cataracts.

Drinking pineapple water is a very successful way, for example, to supplement those two liters of water that we must consume per day. Pineapple juice contains a high amount of vitamin C and beta-carotene, antioxidants that are responsible for combating the damage caused by the sun and pollution in our epidermis. Vitamin C also promotes collagen generation, which helps reduce wrinkles and improve the texture and overall appearance of the skin.

A good supplement to lose weight

Let's first clarify that pineapple water, by itself, will not make you lose those extra kilos. It is necessary that you take a varied and balanced diet. Being light, sugar-free, and without that slightly acid taste that usually has the natural pineapple, it becomes much more pleasant and feels very good to all kinds of stomachs, even the most delicate. Only in these cases can you benefit from the following:

  • You will be more satiated.
  • The craving for sweetness is reduced.
  • The thiamine present in pineapple water will allow you to accelerate the body's metabolism by converting carbohydrates into energy.

It Hydrates you

It will provide you with adequate micronutrients that water alone does not offer you. So, it will be a good idea that every day you carry a small bottle of pineapple water in your bag.
You will avoid cramps or other problems associated with daily fatigue thanks to the potassium of the pineapple. It is very effective to maintain an adequate balance of electrolytes in our body.
Remember, yes, start drinking pineapple water on an empty stomach.

Take care of your liver and your intestines

Its beneficial enzymes, plus a series of antioxidants present in pineapple water, will also help you to detoxify your body of heavy metals. On the other hand, it will help you keep some intestines clean. Of course, to avoid constipation it is always more advisable to consume the natural pineapple.

Pineapple water is good for your thyroid

Did you know that pineapples contain iodine? So is. In addition, bromelain protects us against many autoimmune diseases, which is also very suitable for treating the symptoms associated with the thyroid. Diets rich in vitamin C contribute to not losing sight and can reduce the risk of cataract formation.

Impulse the Immune System

Drinking pineapple juice helps to avoid viral and bacterial infections. The bromelain it contains can be an ally when it comes to increasing our body's defenses. In addition, it acts as a natural anticoagulant. On the other hand, being rich in manganese, it facilitates the production of enzymes in our body.

Fear of constipation? No more! Get Rid of Constipation by Drinking these Juices.

Fear of constipation? No more! Get Rid of Constipation by Drinking these Juices.

Constipation is one of the most common digestive disorders in the population and, in fact, the number of affected patients is higher than that of those with mild gastrointestinal diseases. It occurs when the intestine has alterations in its functioning. These slow down their movement and prevent the evacuations from occurring optimally. Keep reading this post and say goodbye to constipation!

As a result, waste is being retained in the colon and, after several days, symptoms such as inflammation, gas, and pain are derived. This may be due to the difficult digestion of some substances in the food, or to the hardening of the stool due to dehydration. When a person does not evacuate frequently and has difficulty doing so for more than 72 consecutive hours, it is considered that they have constipation. Remember that it is normal to have more than 3 bowel movements per week. However, this can be treated with a diet rich in fiber, good hydration and some remedies for constipation properly.

The scarce and hard stools are one of the most obvious signs of constipation. While each person has a different frequency to go to the bathroom, depending on age, weight, and type of diet, when a person is not able to expel stools more than 3 times per week, you have to pay attention.

Although it may be a case of isolated constipation, due to some transient factor, chronic constipation can also occur. In these cases, daily activity is affected due to the appearance of other symptoms such as headache, nausea, abdominal inflammation, and so on. Digestion is the process by which foods and beverages are broken down into their smaller parts so that the body can use them as an energy source, and to form and feed the cells.

Although it does not always represent a serious problem, it is necessary to provide a treatment to prevent it from occurring chronically, as it can interfere with the quality of life. Fortunately, there are several juice recipes with laxative properties that, without causing adverse reactions, accelerate the relief of this problem to prevent complications.

Remedies for constipation

In most cases, constipation occurs due to the combination of the following factors: dehydration, poor diet, and a sedentary lifestyle. To fight it, obviously, the first thing we must do is try to take better care of these factors; that is, take care of the diet, increase the water intake and the frequency of exercises. You can also resort to some remedies for constipation, as complementary measures.

Remember that remedies for constipation (or any other condition) of a natural kind, should not be taken as the main treatment, but as supplements. On the other hand, we must avoid self-medication of commercial laxatives, since we can create dependency and suffer various side effects.
