Metallic or shimmer eyeshadows are everywhere.  All look great in the pan but once on the lid, the outcome can be different especially if you are in the category of mature eyes like Olivia Sr.  Metallic shimmers capture light like jewels on the lids but on mature lids, the lights are interrupted by the creases and crevices of wisdom.

I received a press release recently on a makeup product which really captured my attention.  Going into ceremonial sacrifice mode (Don't worry, I didn't sacrifice any living creatures) to the Makeup Goddess; I contacted the PR in many hopes and wishes for a sample or two.  I REALLY REALLY WANTED TO TRY the Water Color High Intensity Loose Eyeshadows by Osmosis Colour.

My latest mash up of eyeshadows came from my binge-watching of a television show called The Intruders, created by Glen and Darin Morgan who worked with Chris Carter on The X-Files and Millennium.  These two shows were two of my favorite back in the 90's.
